Welcome to the O Matter help Page.  Oakley is dedicated to assisting not only our customers but our retailers, athletes, and industry contacts.  Below you will find some frequently asked questions, or FAQ’s to help answer some common questions.  For other unanswered questions please contact O Matter at CustomerCare@Oakley.com.com. Q:   What is OMatter?
A:    O-Matter is a Web community for the Oakley Retailer, Athletes, Shop Manager, or Oakley affiliates. It is specifically designed for the Sales Associate.  O-Matter will have a constantly changing face with contests, Sales Associate feedback, blogs, Micro Sites, and much more to come!

Q:    Who can use OMatter?
A:    Anyone from an Authorized Oakley Retailer, Oakley Athletes, or Oakley Affiliate is authorized to use OMatter.com, as long as they were given an access card from their Representative.

 Q:    How do I earn a OMatter incentive?
A:    By completing and successfully passing each of the labs needed for that incentive.  In the case of the Summer 2010 Incentive - Discount, you will need to pass the HDPolarized, Women's Lab, Men's Sunglass Consumer and Split Jacket labs with a score of 80% or higher.  If you read the materials and watch the videos, you will have no trouble passing the labs.  Good luck!

Q:     What items may I use my incentive towards?
A:    Incentives are open to almost every category Oakley offers, with the exception of Electronics, Rx, Rework Pack, O Rokr(TM) Pro, Echo Charlie Pack, Alpha Charlie Messenger, The Rework Board Short, 2 Face Bandana and seasonal sale items. *Please note that the Rework Pack and O Rokr™, Echo Charlie Pack, Alpha Charlie Messenger, The Rework Board Short, 2 Face Bandana will show a discount in your Cart but none will be granted when the order is processed.

Q:    Do incentives expire?  (NEW)
A:    Yes.  The first three incentives available (i.e. HDO, Brand & History, Polarized) expired on 7/7/2010.  Currently, only the Summer 2010 Incentive - Discount is available.

Q:     If I am an Oakley Retailer (Sales Associate) how many times can I log on to OMatter?
A:     As a Sales Associate you can log on as much as you want. The Site has been designed to allow you to frequent it as you please, as well as to take the Modules as many times as you would like.

Q:     What determines my incentive after taking my qualifying tests?
A:     We will determine the incentive, as either fixed for normal modules or varied for special extra modules.

Q:     If I am a VIP How many times is my OMatter access code good for?
A:     A VIP access card is only valid for one visit, and one VIP, for incentive use only.

Q:     What happens if I would like to spend more than my limit after receiving my initial incentive?
A:     If you spend more than the allotted limit stated, your remaining balance will move to full retail value.  You are welcome to spend as much as you like, but your incentive is only for the stated amount.

Q:     How many times may I take the OMatter incentive tests?
A:     You may take the tests as many times as you like. The only score that will be recorded will be your initial test score.

Q:     May I return items I have purchased through OMatter?
A:     All purchases are final on O-Matter.com; there are no refunds or exchanges, or returns of any sort.  If there is a defect please refer to the warranty section.

Q:     What is the warranty on items purchased through OMatter?
A:     All warranties are subject to the particular items purchases. IE: eyewear items are limited to the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, (for details please refer to your warranty card).

Q:     I cannot log on to my account, I created last time I logged on, what do I do?
A:     You may refer to the customer service number listed on your access card and follow the instructions to either reregister your account or change your log on and password.

Q:     Is everyone required to take the Modules to receive the incentives?
A:    All wholesale access cards are required to take the incentive modules.  Some other cards have different access, and it will depend on the access card you receive.

Q:     If I do not use the entire amount of my incentive, will it be available for a second purchase.
A:     Your incentive is a one-time use only. You do not have to use your incentive immediately.  Once you do use you incentive it will cancel any remaining balance at the conclusion of your purchase.

Q:     How many times are modules available to take per year?
A:     The amount of incentives will vary; at this point we only have 2 incentive modules available. With time there will be an array of incentive modules to take.

Q:     If I do not pass a module can I retake the test? If so, how many times?
A:     You may take the module as many times as possible, but you will need to pass with a 70% test score or you will have to take the entire Module again.

Q:     As a Oakley Authorized Retailer how long is my account allowed to stay idle before I must reregister with a new access number?
A:      Your account will be live for 120 days before the system purges idle accounts. If this happens you will need to get a new access card. Access cards are extremely hard to get so it is wise to check your account at least once a month.

Q:     Can an access code be shared?
A:     NO, Access codes are tied to each individual account. If someone tries to use your code they will not be able to access the site.

Q:     If you are erased from the database what do you need to do?
A:     You will need to obtain a new access code card from your rep or your shop manager.

Q:     Can I sell the items I purchase off OMatter.com?
A:     NEVER, selling any Oakley product off O-Matter to anyone, can get you removed permanently from the site, and you may be prosecuted for any type of illegal or fraudulent behavior.

Q:     Whom are the incentives intended for?
A:     The items received in any incentive are for YOU. This site was intended for the Sales associate and other Oakley affiliates.  We cannot stop you from giving items away but we prefer that this site stay as a benefit for you and all of the other Sales associates that carry Oakley product.  Any misuse of these privileges may conclude in the removal of your access to OMatter.com

Q:     What happens if I leave the company I work for now?
A:     If you leave the Oakley retailer you work for, you may be removed from the O-Matter site, and the only way to regain access is to become an associate at a different Oakley retailer.

Q:     Besides Modules what else will be available for frequent users of OMatter?
A:     There will be a number of items over time we will offer to frequent users.  Some of these items may be: limited Edition eyewear, additional access to OMatter, VIP invites to special events in your area, and more!

Q:     If I take every module that is released and pass every one, what other incentives are available to me?
A:     As stated before, there will be a number of extended items available for frequent and Elite users.

Q:     When new items, modules, or contests are released on OMatter, how can I receive notice?
A:     There will be an option on your account to receive emails on updates.  Check your account to see if the update Via Email box is checked.  At this time emails are the only updates we have available.

Q:     How can I remove my profile from OMatter.com?
A:     You will need to contact the administrator at O-Matter.com or leave your account Idle for 120 days and the system will automatically delete your account.
